Virgil C. Roberts Jr.

Virgil C. Roberts Jr., 75, of Greenville, Ohio, formerly of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2009 at the Wayne Hospital, Greenville. He was born on February 25, 1934 in London, Ohio, son of the late Virgil C. Roberts Sr. and Goldie Wooten Roberts Haaz. He was raised in the home of his late grandparents Robert and Orpha Wooten from a very young age. Virgil is a member of Elizabeth Chapel Church. He has been a resident of Darke County Home, Greenville, Ohio for several years. Virgil is survived by one brother, Richard Roberts of Bremerton, Washington and a sister, Chiquita Leon of Sacramento, California. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and brother, Shelby Roberts. Services will be 1 p.m., Friday, June 5, 2009 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in St. Nick Cemetery.
