Vivian Virginia Blake, 83, of Gallipolis, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2009 at the Holzer Medical Center. She was born November 12, 1925 in Logan, West Virginia, daughter of the late Claude and Susie Dameron Mason. She was married to Lloyd O. Blake and he preceded her in death on April 10, 1992. She was a homemaker and attended Mina Chapel Church. Surviving are her daughter, Vera F. Blake of Gallipolis; a sister, Peggy Patterson of Gallipolis; a brother, Dean Mason of Gallipolis; two sisters-in-law, Louise Queen of Canal Winchester and Lulu Blake of Gallipolis; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Lloyd O. Blake and her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Claudetta Sayre and a brother, Doug Mason. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12-1 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.
