Vivian E. Ferguson

Vivian E. Ferguson, 86, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Scenic Hills Care Center. She was born on April 2, 1921 in Gallipolis, Ohio daughter of the late Clarence Bill and Lucille Fife Mayes. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Kim Ferguson, daughter-in-law Ann Ferguson, Sister Margaret Danko, and a brother Chet Mayes. Surviving are two sons Fred Barb Ferguson, Joseph Ferguson, a daughter Kathie Leslie Lemley, granddaughter Jody Ferguson, Grandson Joey Ferguson, Sister Betty Ben Houck and several great grandchildren. Vivian graduated from Gallia Academy High School in 1938 and retired from Holzer Medical Center as switchboard supervisor after 25 years. She attended Vinton Baptist Church until her health declined. Her children were very special to her and she will be deeply missed by them and all her family. At her request, her remains will be cremated and private services will be held a later date.
