Wendi M. Matthews

Wendi M. Matthews, 38, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Forked Run State Park in Long Bottom, Ohio. Born on November 9, 1982 in Charleston, West Virginia, Wendi was the daughter of the late Karen McCracken Grimm, who preceded her in death in 2012, and Mark Matthews, who survives her in Teays Valley, West Virginia. Wendi was employed by Dollar General. Wendi is survived by her fiancé, Randy Stephens of Chillicothe and his children, Heather, Amber, and Dylan Stephens; brothers, Michael (Kyeria) Campbell of Gallipolis and Chris (Melissa) Campbell of Bidwell; stepfather, Cary (Betty) Campbell of Leon, West Virginia; brother, Marcus Burdette; sisters, Chelsea (Cody) Troy, Caitlin Campbell, and Cortney Campbell; nieces and nephews, Madison and Chrystyne Campbell and London, Cali, and Cooper Campbell; and Chloe, her pet dog. A Memorial Service for Wendi will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Willis Funeral Home with Cary B. Campbell officiating.
