William "Bill" Biars

William Andrew “Bill” Biars, 64, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Holzer Medical Center. Born on August 3, 1957 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Bill was the son of the late Christopher William and Beatrice G. Pullins Biars, Jr. On July 2, 1976, Bill married Joyce Sheets Biars, who survives him in Gallipolis. He was a Gallia Academy High School Class of 1975 graduate and a security guard with Kyger Creek. Bill’s hobbies included bowling, golfing, hunting, yardwork, and auctions. Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joyce Biars of Gallipolis; five brothers; one sister; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by one brother. A Graveside Service for Bill will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Ridgelawn Cemetery with Pastor Randy Patterson officiating.
