Ada J. Hostetler

Ada J. Hostetler, 6, of 162 State Rt. 233, Patriot, Ohio, died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Pt. Pleasant, WV. She had a genetic disorder (Cockayne Syndrome). She was born January 16, 2008 in Gallia County to Jonas J. and Laurie (Miller) Hostetler. Surviving are her parents; 5 sisters, Miriam, Esther, Lovina, Mary and Sarah; and 1 brother, Melvin, all of the home; grandparents, John and Martha (Yoder) Hostetler and Abe and Esther (Hershberger) Miller, all of Patriot; and a great grandmother, Fannie Hershberger of Orrville. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jonas Jr., who had the same syndrome; 2 uncles, Melvin Hostetler and Mervin Miller and an aunt, Fannie Miller. Funeral Services will be held at the Hostetler home on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. with Bishop Albert Byler officiating. Burial will be in the Troyer Cemetery.
