Bryan Randall Workman, 38, of Spotsylvania, Virginia, formerly of Ceredo-Kenova, WV, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. He was born April 30, 1975 in Huntington, WV. Bryan is a 1993 graduate of Ceredo Kenova High School. He studied electrical engineering at the University of Kentucky, received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Averett University and was awarded his Masters of Healthcare Administration from Ohio University. Bryan was the Director of Plant Operations at SRMC in Virginia. Bryan is the beloved husband of Melissa Davis Workman, whom he married on February 3, 2001. He has two beautiful children, Lauren, 18 and Derek, 11. Bryan is also survived by his parents, Randy and Sarah Workman of Culloden, WV; paternal grandmother, Lora Workman of Ceredo, WV; father-in-law and mother-in-law Tom and Marlene Davis of Gallipolis, Ohio. Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Charles and Lyndol Curry and paternal grandfather, Virgil Workman. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Willis Funeral Home, Gallipolis, Ohio with Pastor Alvis Pollard officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova, WV at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Jerry C. Workman officiating.
