Donavon R. Lester

Donavon R. Lester, 23, of Patriot, Ohio died on Sunday, June 09, 2013 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV, from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born on November 16, 1989 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of Kimberly Keene and Donavon Lester. Donavon was a 2008 graduate of South Gallia High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Rio Grande with a degree in Power Plant Maintenance and welding. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and four wheeling. He is survived by his mother Kimberly Keene of Gallipolis, his father and step-mother Donavon (Kathy) Lester of Patriot, sister Heather Lester of Gallipolis, grandparents, Bobby (Panzy) Keene of Fanrock, WV, Pamela Keene of Ashland, Ohio, Step grandmothers, Lisa Lester of Patriot, and Sharon Miller of Ripley, WV, special friends, Dustin Roach and Nathan Coughenour both of Gallipolis, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandfather Woodie Lester and an Uncle Bobby Joe Lester. Funeral services will be 1 pm Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Willis Funeral Home.
