Gladys Pauline Eblin, 79, of Vinton, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. Pauline was born May 7, 1932 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late Ralph E. and Mary E. Johnson Sands. She was married to Glen Eblin and he preceded her in death in 2008. She was retired from Holzer Medical Center. Pauline was a member of the Debbie Drive Chapel. She enjoyed her family. Surviving are her four sons, Richard (Melody) Eblin and Keith Eblin, both of Vinton, Mike (Judy) Eblin of Gallipolis and Marc (Pam) Eblin of Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia; sixteen grandchildren, Angela (Robert) St. Clair, Gary (Karen) Truance, Jennifer (Robbie Canaday)Truance, Josh (Sarah) Truance, Richie Eblin, Adam (Tara) Eblin, Melanie (Rick) Vanco, Keith (Heather) Eblin, Jason (Karen) Eblin, Charity ( Robert) Rausch, David (Chasity) Eblin, Marc Eblin Jr., Jennifer Eblin, Jacob Eblin, Kelli Thomas and Bryan Thomas; 27 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Lou Clagg and Ada Mae Raines, both of Gallipolis; and a brother, Melvin Greene of Gallipolis. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Glen Eblin, a brother, Ralph Sands, a daughter-in-law, Tami Eblin and a nephew Billy Joe Clagg. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Sword officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Street Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. Family member will serve as pallbearers.
