Mack Arthur Elkins, 64, of Crown City, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2011 at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. He was born February 5, 1947 in Wayne, West Virginia, son of the late Arthur E. and Mollie Cochran Elkins. He was married to Barbara Clark and she survives him. Mack was employed at Steel Products in Huntington, West Virginia and was a farmer. Surviving him are his wife, Barbara Elkins of Crown City; a son, David (Brittany) Elkins of Rio Grande; four daughters, Ashlie (Rodney) Cornell of Bidwell, Angela (William) Houck of Gallipolis, Mackenize Abridello of Hampton, Virginia, and Bridgette (Chris) Dodson of Bidwell; seven grandchildren, Tray and Brandon Cornell, Preslie Houck, Anthony Abridello, Ilo, Emma, and Bailey Dodson; six sisters, Glenna Holbrook of Gallipolis, Hester Fisher of Grayson, Kentucky, Anna (Stanley) Jones of Gallipolis, Elizabeth Elkins of Bidwell, Mary Elkins of Gallipolis, Dorcas (George) Prichard of Charlestown, Indiana; one brother, Paul Edward (Pat) Elkins of Patriot; several nieces and nephews. Mack was preceded in death by his parents, a brother William Estes Elkins and a sister Martha Stanley. Services will be 7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Harold Benson officiating.
