Nina J. Petroff

Nina J. Petroff, 74, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2006 at the Holzer Medical Center. Nina was born on September 7, 1932 in Fayetteville, WV to the late Anna Fitiloff Ramplewich. She was a retired employee of the Gallipolis Developmental Center and worked later as a Foster Grandparent. She was married to Mike W. Petroff and he preceded her in death in 1985. Also preceding her in death was her mother, Anna Ramplewich, a son Jonathon Wayne Petroff in 1995; two sisters Wanda Poling and Rose Garzione, and by two brothers, Leonard Ramplewich and Ed Ramplewich. Surviving is her daughter, Rose Waller and fianc? Conny Harvey of Bidwell, eleven grandchildren, Mike Michelle Whitt of Gallipolis, Jason Whitt of New Port Richey, FL, Tammy Jason Skaggs of Louisa, KY, Rosalie Robert Spaulding of Kermit, WV, Barb James Pack of Kermit, WV, Lou Ollie Dingess, of Warfield, KY, Terry Cindy Whitt, of Newark, OH, Layla Blankenship of Orient, OH, Kimberly, Jonathon and Matthew Petroff all of Monroe, MI., 17 Great Grandchildren; a sister Victoria Henderson of Fredrick, MD; and many nieces, nephews and friends; two special nieces, Gloria McQuaid and Anitra Dray both of Gallipolis; special friends, Pati and Larry Spaw of Cincinnati, OH, and Everett and Diana Halley of Gallipolis. Nina enjoyed her work and will be missed beyond words. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2006 from 5-8 PM at Willis Funeral Home. In accordance to her wishes there will not be a funeral service.
