Paul Russell Halley, 72, of Huntington, West Virginia, formerly of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. Paul was born on February 16, 1946 in Gallia County, son of the late Clarence and Lucy Cox Halley. Paul was a Vietnam Veteran serving in U.S. Army and had worked at KFC in Gallipolis. He enjoyed College Football, especially O.S.U. Buckeyes. He is survived by his fiancé Jean Hunter of Huntington, a son Lance A. Halley (Mollie) of Gallipolis, Ohio; a grandson Levi Halley; six sisters, Patricia (Ivan) Beaver, Karen Siders, Rosalie (Pete) Beaver, Arlene Leach, Ruth Halley all of Gallipolis, and Christine Montgomery of Crown City; one brother Jimmy Halley of Gallipolis, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters, Lula Mae Green, Mary Fitchpatrick, Jeanie Shaver, and by two brothers, Everett Halley and Franklin Halley. The funeral for Paul Halley will be 1 pm Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Bradley Boston officiating. His burial will be in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may from 11 am -1 pm prior the service on Saturday at the funeral home. There will be full military rites at the graveside by the Gallia County Funeral Detail.
