Ralph Eddie Mullins

Ralph 'Eddie' Mullins, 76, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2009 at Arbors at Gallipolis. He was born May 22, 1933 in Crown City, son of the late Mark and Audrey E. Wallace Mullins. Eddie was married to Lorena K. 'Katie' Wallace and she survives him. He was a carpenter and U.S. Air Force Korean War veteran. Eddie was a member of VFW #4464, American Legion Post #27, Elks Lodge #102 and was Gallipolis Boat Club Dockmaster for several years. Eddie is survived by his wife, Katie of Gallipolis; three children, Cindy Kevin Peak of South Carolina, Jeff Mullins of Florida, and Laura Bill Garland of Michigan; three stepchildren, Twila Brown of Virginia, Terry Andrea Harrison of New York, and Trent Leda Harrison of Gallipolis; five brothers, Howard D. Nancy Mullins of Gallipolis, Lyndall V. Barbara Mullins of West Jefferson, Randall R. Kathy Mullins of Middleport, Kendall L. Debbie Mullins of Gallipolis and Harold Mullins of Florida; Grandchildren, Brandon Cassie Harrison of Jackson, Olivia Harrison of Gallipolis, Rickey, Ryan, Missy, Chrisey, Randy, Karen, Jessica and Julie; two aunts, Thelma Puckett and Vivian Moore; an uncle, Dillard Wallace. He was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey E. Wallace Mullins in 2001, his father, Mark Mullins in 1991, two sons, Mark and Tim Mullins, and two brothers, Norval Dewey Mullins and Leon Mullins. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. There will be full military services by volunteers of area veteran's lodges. Pallbearers will be Howard Mullins, Lyndall Mullins, Randall Mullins, Kendall Mullins, Terry Harrison, and Bill Garland. Honorary pallbearers will be Trent and Brandon Harrison. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Eddie's memory to Arbors at Gallipolis, Activity Department, 170 Pinecrest Drive, Gallipolis, OH 45631.
