Steve Baird

Steve Baird, 56, of Gallipolis, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. He was born July 26, 1958 in Phoenix, Arizona, son of the late Donald J. and Bobby Purcell Baird. Steve was a 1976 graduate of Gallia Academy High School. He was the owner of Baird’s Towing and Body Shop. Steve was a member of the Kanauga Sportsman Club. Surviving are his loving companion, Sheila Baird Cromlish of Gallipolis; a son, Ben Baird of Gallipolis; a grandson, Bryson B. Baird; and three sisters, Peggy, Janie and Cheryl. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Colton Stephen Baird. Services will be 1:30 p.m., Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Wiseman officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 5-8 p.m.
